Eight large-ish pieces of hand dyed and painted 100% silk fabric. Charmeuse, Crepe de Chine and Habotai ranging in weight from 8mm ~ 19mm. The two smallest pieces are 10" × 50" and 14" × 40" the rest are much larger. Perfect for mixed media, art journals and scrapbooks, or as raw material for a textile artist or crazy quilter. All pieces feature cut or torn edges, some open and some closed selvage. This lot represents at least 50 hours of dye or paint color and technique testing. Dyed and/or painted with non-toxic Fiber Reactive and Acid dyes and textile pigments. All pieces have been heat fixed or steam set, washed and tested for wash fastness but I still recommend cool/warm gentle washing with neutral detergent shops or shampoo. Questions? Ask.
