The very unique cup has an extra high footed pedistal stem, making it extemely dainty, and is pearl luster china made in Japan. There is gold guilding around the lip and foot of the teacup. The loop shaped handle is heavily gold guiled as well. A hand painted pink flower and stems with gold leaves decorate this gorgeous and elegant tea cup. It measures 3.5 in high and 3.5 in diameter. The reticulated saucer has ornate open loops around it to match the handle of the cup. It is iridescent lusterware with heavy gold guilding around the reticulated edge. The hand painted pink lotus flower and gold leaves also match the teacup. It measured 6 in diameter and .75 in high. The cup and saucer in the pictures carry the Japan Nasco Del Corando sticker. I have 5 sets of the tea cup and saucer for sale. The pictures are a sample of them. You may not receive the one in these photos. All 5 sets are in excellent condition and the only flaw I'm aware of shops is the stickers on the saucers are fad.
