Unique set of rare decorative vintage antique copper bookends hand crafted in Houghton, Michigan. They're quite heavy and could be used as doorstops too! They have all of the hammered marks shops by the craftsman who had a vision for his design and went to work. Simple in design as there was definitely not a mold used as is common with many copper bookends that have more detail. These will look great in any home and can work with traditional, mid-century, country, modern or any decor style. They're quite heavy with what I'm guessing could be cement bottoms. The bottom of one is a little loose as I showed in pics. They have felt bottoms for protection of any surface. Houghton, Michigan was home to copper mines many decades ago. Great price (just compare with others on internet!) for these unique antique bookends made of valuable and highly sought after copper! Reasonable offers considered.
