RARE Butterfly Brooch Pin Givre Navette Unsigned shops KJL All the stones are entirely prong set. The outer jelly like stones are a Vaseline type green color -opaline. There is also a small strip either side of light amethyst and those open backed burnt orange. The head is a small round carved bohemian glass cab. ALL the stones are glass including the large ab flashed center stone so it is a heavier piece. It measures 3.5 inches long and 3.75 inches at the widest part. It is in mint condition. I love and appreciate that American quality that is so lacking these days. I have figured out why this piece never got the designer stamp. If you notice the larger center stone - you can see it is slightly offset - not perfectly centered. I believe this piece is an overrun with that flaw. I picked this one up in Providence late 80's early 90's while stumbling around one of my old haunts. I believe it is a unsigned Juliana or Kenneth J Lane piece.
