For sale here is a BIG vintage 1940s 50s Japanese green glass and silver leaves overlay musical vanity jar from Japan. A beautiful artifact, and so versatile! Could be used shops to store many different types of items on a vanity stand, in a bathroom, anywhere where you want the storage to look pretty! Plays a lovely melody, possibly by Tschaikovsky, but I don't recognize it. Measures 9-3/4" tall at the top of the handle when in the upright position, the glass jar itself measures 5" high. Measures 5-1/2" wide by 4-7/8" deep, and weighs 1 kilogram exactly. Marked at bottom impressed into the glass "Japan". Excellent vintage condition with just fine light wear really nearly like new as shown - please view the photos, read the description, and ask all questions prior to purchase.
