These speakers have survived in nearly perfect condition and represent a look back at just how good American Audio was back in the early days. The sonic signature of the Marantz Imperial 5G is more like an AR than an Advent...eg: they are very open, clear, and shops dynamic...as opposed to soft, laid back and mellow.
