This is very good example of the "Executor's, Administrator's and Guardian's Guide" by David Wright. This was a practical guidebook for both lawyers and non-legal professionals alike to help with legal matters relating to wills, probate, and guardianships which includes the laws of New York and legal forms for related probate and family law matters. This is leatherbound with minor wear on the cover edges and corners & some scuffing. Some foxing & toning on the pages. Signed in pencil by former owner, Martin Goff (1812-1892), a successful farmer who lived in Bristol, Ontario Co., NY. Won the New York State Agricultural Society award in February 1867 for the "best" winter barley shops. This book is the 2nd edition & was published in 1846 by J.C. Derby & Co. in Geneva, NY. This is a great book for lovers of New York history & legal history. It would be a great gift for a lawyer. In great condition for a book that is 183 years old. Weighs about 15 oz. Measures 5" x 7.5" x 1.25".
