Stenciled edges, the blue edge of Crown of Gilded Bones looks to have some fade toward the one side, this has been like that since getting them. No damage to the books themselves (there is always the potential for there to be damage in shipping). There's are from a 100% SMOKE FREE home. If upon receiving shops these and you detect smoke, I apologize but that will be something that occurred during shipment and delivery.
