Vintage Coro duette Bee brooch fur clip 1943 Coro duette bumble bee brooch. Coro Adolph Katz applied for a patent in 1942 for a separable brooch. This brooch separates into two bumble bee fur clip. (See pics) ***Condition!! One of these fur clips is more delicate. As you can see the leg has fallen off. Also, the back part, fur clip part, doesn't look too stable. I highly recommend this brooch be used as a brooch or put on a shelf and admired. If you take it apart as a duette, the fur clip may fall apart. It's missing three stones. This piece is 80 yrs old and rare. In good condition it sells for $350-450. Google it. The price reflects the condition and is a good price for a beginner collector. It's a beautiful piece of jewelry shops history and hard to find! Price is firm. No discounts on this piece.
