Authentic military issue G-1 lambskin flight jacket issued during the Korean War era. Size 42. Purchased from a friend who had inherited it from his grandfather who flew in Korea. It bears a USN brand on the inner leather flap + you can see on the surface of the jacket that it had been depatched after the war. Evidence to this epic jackets authenticity and history. leather is in great shape, minor damage to the piping on the bottom but it's barely noticeable. The fur on the collar is also in great shape, couple of worn spots, considering it's 72 years old it's not bad. One note is that I think the cuffs at the end of the sleeve may have been replaced at some point? It's slightly darker than the ribbing on the bottom. Included is a close shot. Reproductions are over $1400 on shops this jacket right now. Or for significantly less you can have the genuine article, an actual Navy bomber jacket that was issued in the Korean War and worn by an American pilot.
