This is a unique, rustic, primitive pitcher with handmade details. The cover or stopper is “the icing on the cake” with open carved elements. I used shops it as an olive oil server at a buffet..I filled the topper with small green olives and tiny basil sprigs to indicate its contents. Use it as a creamer or small individual teapot for steeping. It has a cream color glaze over it's brown clay which creates a wonderful patina. The bottom is signed. Other than it's “intentional” imperfections…it's in excellent condition. I have no idea of it's age.
