This awesome antique "crock" jug-often referred to as "Beehive" because of its shape-is believed to be circa mid/late 1800s to the early 1900s. This type of jugs were commonly used to store and transport whiskey, wine, shops moonshine, etc. It is in EXCELLENT condition. Its dark brown color is further enhanced by GREAT luster; and the salt rubbed glaze is clearly evident by the legendary "bumpy" surface.
