Antique handpainted Japanese teaset, teapot, strainer, creamer, sugar, plates and cups. Each teacup has a lithophane of a Japanese geisha. Four teacups, saucers and dessert plates, creamer, sugar & lid, tea strainer and teapot & lid. One teacup has a old repaired crack, pictured, and some of the plates show some missing glaze, pictured. Dot of red glaze is off the teapot. Teapot has a bamboo handle shops. Red characters on base are symbols for Japan. Really good condition for age and cups being very thin porcelain. Because of the symbols rather than the word Japan these were either pre-1921 or not exported to the U.S.
