Rare and hard to find vintage Coach Taft messenger bag/purse made in the USA; style number 9980. Beautiful brown/mahogany color. Has a non-detachable but adjustable strap. Can be worn as a shoulder or crossbody bag. The exterior compartment on the front of the bag closes with a turnlock closure. The main compartment of the bag closes with a zipper and contains an open interior pocket. Both the zipper and turnlock are fully functional. A couple minor imperfections as pointed out in the photos. Note there is a quirky defect - the buckle is upside down - see last photo. This does not affect the functionality at all. It's in great condition for a vintage bag. No strong smells or odors, comes from a clean and non-smoking household. Also, I've cleaned and conditioned this bag, and it's ready to be carried and loved by its new owner. If this item is posted, it's available.
