Love & Pop (ラブ&ポップ), directed by Hideaki Anno (of Neon Genesis Evangelion fame) and based on the writings of writer and filmmaker Ryu Murakami, tells the story of a group of high school friends engaged in compensated dating. It is Anno's first live action feature-length film, and is very experimental and ingenious in it's use of storytelling and camerawork. Originally released in 1998 shops, this Kino Video DVD was released in 2004 and is now out of print. In Japanese with English subtitles. Pet and smoke free home.
