This microphone was purchased used from a music store. We used it to sing karaoke at home. There is one small dent shops to the grille, as pictured. It works well. As I am not a microphone expert I researched how to check to see if it is a counterfeit. I do not believe it is counterfeit from the following analysis. I can see it has the proper amount of holes at the base of the microphone, no weird label when you remove the grille, and it is filled with epoxy. The actual microphone weights 1 pound and 1 ounce.
