This is a new in the box, Goebel and Hummel Second in a Series wooden music box titled “Chick Girl” which features a 3 dimensional carved image of the Hummel girl. The ceramic medallion attached to the inside of the lid reads, "Second Edition in a Series of Four, M.I. Hummel (signature) Four Seasons Series, “Chick Girl”Goebel 1987, No. 01823, from A Worldwide Limited Edition of 10,000 The Regue Swiss musical movement of this music box plays the tune “Voices of Spring”and the gold plated musical movement is controlled by a windup knob on the bottom and a stop/start switch on the side, in addition there is additional space inside to allow for jewelry or small treasures. The Music box is in shops wonderful working condition, no fading or repairs and in the original box.
