Product code: Working! shops 1982 Toshiba KT-S3 Cassette Player Portable Stereo Japan Walkman Tested
A real classic, the Toshiba KT-S3 from 1982. Refurbished back to working condition. Audio play test available on YouTube! https://youtu.be/DCc0XrjHngY This player features duel headphone jacks, a talk button to deafen the volume, and a switch for playing Cr02 Metal tapes. It also has the ability to play both AM and FM radio with special tuner tapes, however these tapes are not included. I've replaced shops the belt and given it a good cleaning. Volume slider and headphone jacks were cleaned with DeoxIT, playhead head and pinch roller were cleaned with 90% isopropyl alcohol. Speed was adjusted, but still plays a tad bit slow even at the highest position the potentiometer allows. There is also some minor wow & flutter, I'm guessing from the pinch roller that's still original. Cosmetically, it's a bit rough with some paint blemishes and a couple missing screws. But nothing is broken, door hinge is strong and eject lever works great. Will ship via USPS Priority Mail in a box.
