Octavo, pp. [1-12] 13-111 [112] [113-126: ads], 25 pages of pictures engraved by the Brothers Dalziel, original pictorial cream wrappers printed in purple. First edition. Pages 18-23 print "Some Unusual Adventures" by Ambrose Bierce writing as "Dod Grille." Bierce commenced writing for FUN, a London periodical, in 1872 and continued as a contributor for two or three years. This is the last shops of Bierce's four contributions to the Tom Hood annuals. BAL 1103. Wolff did not have a copy of this issue of the annual. Spine mostly missing, but a very good copy considering.
