The latch on this trunk is broken, but with someone who knows how to fix it can easily be fixed :) the metal piece to the latch will be with the trunk. It also could use some oil because it makes a lioness growling sound when closing the trunk. This is vintage, and will make an outstanding addition to anyone who loves to collect store displays.
