Up for sale is one brand new factory sealed cassette of Pavement Courting Shutdown Offers (Slanted and Enchanted). The condition of the cassette and packaging is Sealed/Mint. Matador ‎– OLE-1891-MC Replica of the cassette Pavement used to shop 'Slanted And Enchanted' to prospective record labels. This is an early version of the finished album with a different running order and a handful of alternate track titles. All songs © Pavement (Ess. Malk, S. Stairs, G. shops Young) Recorded Jan 13-18 1991 (at Louder Than You Think, Stockton CA.) Engineered by us. ...but "Pillowjack" recorded 12-23-90 at South Makepeace Studios Brooklyn, NY. This extremely limited edition cassette replicates Pavement's demo tape for Slanted & Enchanted that the band shopped around to various record labels.
