A very interesting book and enjoyable read. Beautifully bound in bright red cloth-covered boards, with black-stamped decorations along the front cover and spine. The title is stamped in black along the front cover, with an illustration of the author in bright gold gilt. Along the spine, however, the title, publisher, and note "six-hundred original sketches" are all stamped in gold gilt. Rough cut paper along the fore edge. Size: Approx. 5-1/2" over x 7-3/4" tall.
