Beautiful pair of 1940s era landscape small oil on canvas paintings. Paintings depict a little lake house with a red roof from two different vantage points. Signed Linnell in red on the bottom right of both paintings. (From my research it's either Eric or Frank, brothers. I've only found floral miniatures attributed to them however.) Professionally framed in fantastic original wood frames & stamped "origional oil artwork". Paintings and frames are in Excellent condition. Minor tearing to the back framing paper. Otherwise excellent shape. Frames: 6.75" x 5.5". Paintings: probably 4x5 (that's what the back says). Original and beautiful pieces of art! Don't be shy, Offers shops always considered.
