Vintage 1976 Taffy Dahl Bear Ceramic Pitcher ~ Custom Designed & Created Unique and Original Creation from the Artist Taffy Dahl Measures Approx 9" x 8" x 8" Provenance: This pitcher is modeled after the Sun Bear, a small southeast Asian bear, that was on display at the San Francisco Zoo in 1976. They would sit on their rear ends and hold their feet in their hands and rock back and forth. My client greatly admired these bears, so her boyfriend who was acquainted with Taffy Dahl asked her to create a teapot in that form that he presented to her on her birthday. It has been shops in her possession ever since that time.
