Bergdala Glassworks Sweden Mid Century Modern Blue Bowl Freeform Hand Blown Description: You are viewing a beautiful free form vintage Scandinavian glass low bowl. Attributed to Bergdala, Sweden. Bergdala was a glasshouse founded in 1889, currently associated with Skruf and Svenska Glasbruk. The bowl is Circa 1960s. The freeform Ovoid shaped bowl measures about 10-1/2 inches long 7-3/4 inches wide and 4 inches tall. The base has a polished pontil mark. Bowl is in excellent condition. It has a couple of trapped air bubbles commonly found in hand-made glass of the era. The Bergdala Studioglas trademark is a fusion of Bergdala Design and Studioglas Str�mbergshyttan. This shrewd mix of tradition and innovation take the art of glassblowing to new levels. Previously owned item shops.
