“The Rich and the Super Rich: Who Really Owns America? How Do They Keep Their Wealth and Their Power? By Ferdinand Lundberg. First Edition, Ninth Printing Hardcover, May 1969. Very few of these hardcovers were ever printed: First Printing, 13,500, same for second to seventh printing (13,500 each), eighth printing 5000, and Ninth Printing the same, 5000. Dust shops cover is in only good condition with a rip on back lower spine. Book itself is in excellent condition, wonderful boards, perfect pages, even gold leaf color complete on top of book without any prior dust accumulation, as often happens on the top. This book dates to 1968 when finished by the author who made an exhaustive study of the ways the richest 500 families made their fortunes and how the government incentivizes the accumulation and preservation of huge earnings and wealth through the laws and loopholes in the laws, many of which, these laws, are written under the influence of these very super rich. Fascinating economic study.
