2 vintage Metropolitan Museum of Art / Mottahedeh / Vista Alegre (Portugal) 8 1/2" salad plates with Famille Verte design. Decoration adapted from a Chinese bowl, K'ang Hsi period (1662-1722). Both plates are in great condition with no nicks, chips, or cracks. Some light wear to the shops gold around the rim. The only issue with these plates is that they look like someone may have put them down on wet paint at one point, because there is (what appears to be) dried paint on the backs (shown in photos).
