This listing is for a yardage of fantastic vintage fabric with a retro brushstroke/abstract floral motif Love this pattern and the sophisticated fall color palette. The colors are best captured in the 3rd image. The entire piece of this fabric measures about 160" x 36”. The material is lightweight, high quality and it feels like shops silk. I did a burn test on some of the loose threads. The fiber caught on fire, but flame did not progress very far, the fiber itself did not ball up like the synthetics would do, and did not produce an acrid smell. Thus, I am inclined to think it might be silk, but I can't verify the fiber content with any great certainty. The fabric is in nice vintage condition with no serious issues to mention. I would date it back to the 1960s or so.
