Stunning antique porcelain china footed teacup and saucer made by The Foley Wileman & Company in England. According to the backstamp this china dates 1894 when Wileman began earthenware production until in 1910, the Shelley backstamp replaced Wileman and Co. backstamp that is shown on the saucer. Cobalt blue and gold gilt pattern on the rim of the cup and saucer with pink, purple, yellow flowers with blue green leaves. The pattern number shown on the bottom of both is 7442. Very good vintage condition with no cracks, chips, or crazing. I see a little wear of the gold on the edges of the cup and saucer which is most likely due to its age. Measures: shops Cup - 2 3/4" tall x 4" diameter Saucer - 5 3/4" diameter This item is over a hundred years old and was used and well loved. You can expect that the item might show some sign of use and age however I will list any flaws that I see but it is important to view pictures so that you make sure you are getting what you want.
