Unique Lucite Purse, Vintage 1940s Lucite and Pearlized Translucent Marbleized Box Purse, Lucite Top and Bottom, Curved Handle, Rare and Very Collectible! I was thrilled to find this rare box purse, with its beautiful Mid Century styling. This is a wonderful box purse with a Lucite top and bottom, with a charming curved Lucite handle. This unique treasure is really remarkable, and will shops be a favorite of any vintage lover. The body of the purse features a box shape and has vertical gold tone metal bars through which a plastic-type material has gold design all over. The abstract pearlized pattern of the design is embellished by gold accents. The translucent, hinged Lucite lid is finished with a lovely curved Lucite handle which folds down, if desired. It has an unusual latch closure. The interior is unlined and the bottom is matching translucent Lucite. Measures approximately 8"W x 3"L x 4.5"D.
