They were in business from 1863-1922 and based in Brooklyn, New York. The door plate is rectangular with semi circle ends pierced with holes for hanging. It is about 6 3/4” long and 2 1/4” shops wide. This was most likely used in a public setting (possibly a school) to mark boys bathroom. There are no visible cracks, chips, nor crazing.
