This is a vintage poster/print shops titled "Heimkehr (Coming Home)" by Hans-Werner Sahm. 23 1/2" x 31 1/2". Printed on heavy paper. Published in Germany by Andreas Gerstenberg. Sahm 1989. Excellent condition with very light surface wear and a couple of light dents. This is a much larger version of this work than what we've seen elsewhere online. Hans-Werner Sahm was born in 1943 in Lodz, Poland. He grew up in Seeg Allgau. His sculptures were created with a special acrylic glazing technique. Throughout his fancies, he plays with space and time, the brightness of light, with the force and power of nature. Longing for freedom comes in his visions, as well as to express the desire for security.
