Wooden plywood laptop stand, designed to set on a desk, and raise the screen to an ergonomically favorable height above the desk. Made from imported 12mm (1/2") Birch Plywood, UV clear coated with mineral oiled edges. CNC machined. No assembly is required, the two parts just nest together. Holds any size laptop. Lightweight, and soft material that won't scratch your laptop. Compact cantilevered design. Elevates the screen on most laptops approximately 10" - this places the center of a typical laptop screen at 14" above the desk - am much more comfortable and ergonomically safe height. The front of the laptop keyboard sets at 5.5" above desk (when used with a 9.5" x 14" laptop, not included of course). This is a much more ergonomically correct screen heigh when shops seated at desk height or with adjustable height desks or stand-up desks. Two parts when properly nested together create an "X" shape with dimensions 8.3"wide x 9.3"deep x 10"high and weighs 1.2 pounds.
