No cord, but I tested it with another cord I had from another Enesco music box and the top part works perfectly, but the characters do not rotate around the bottom and Mickeys door doesn't open and close. They are on the same mechanism. It can probably be fixed but I have no idea how to fix it myself! I bought this from someone else previously and Donald, Pluto, goofy, and Minnie were all broken off and other small pieces had fallen off. All super glued back on by me and all are unnoticeable except Donald's foot (looks like he was glued previously with hot glue so it looks a little funky). It is very possible pieces may break off again during transport (especially plutos tail and goofy's music stand) but I have it packaged as best I could (look at last picture) to ensure that pieces will hopefully not break off again! There are also some small discoloration/marks on some pieces (they may able to wash off, or can be touched up with some paint) Let shops me know if you have any questions!.
