Extremely RARE EG&G Area 51 Employee Lapel 15 Years Service Pin 1/10 10K Ruby. For your consideration from my mother's estate is a lapel pin given to her by EG&G for 15 years of service at Area shops 51. Are you a collector of Area 51 or defense contractor items? This pin is so rare, there were few women in the 60's and 70's who worked in this industry. My mother is a former Marine who went on to a career at EG&G. Look closely to notice the futuristic aircraft in upper left corner of pin with a ruby. The ruby has been associated with improved energy and concentration, creativity, loyalty, honor and compassion. Make no mistake, symbols were and are utilized. Ask questions and we will do our best to answer. Although both my parents had top level clearance, we don't know anything about anything.
