Vintage 1940's carved wood picture frame jewelry box. This piece features a lid with hinges that has a carved wooden frame that displays a print of a floral still life print behind glass. Inside, on the interior of the lid is a mirror with a glass bottom. The wood divider is missing. It measures 9" W x 11 1/4" L x 2 3/4" T. Weight 2 lbs. 4 oz. Minor wear to the stained wood. The hinges are tight. The mirror has a bit of ghosting but still usable. It had a felt backing. Half was removed and a napkin is taped to the back. We leave this to the buyer to remove. Inside glass could use cleaned. No cracks to mirror shops or glass. The wood frame around the mirror has a few small chips. The print seems to be in very good condition. This is a vintage or antique collectible wooden picture frame jewelry box and is expected to have some some use wear consistent with its age, adding character to this item.
