Brand new Wilson GST NFHS Collegiate game ball (with school logo) When you watch a game on TV, the game balls never look brand new, they look worked in, darker than a new ball. A process has been shops performed to get those balls to that point, just like this GST. I brushed off the wax residue, applied leather conditioner and tack, allowed it to dry, brushed again, applied baseball mud and let sit for 3 hours, brushed the mud into the ball, applied more conditioner, brushed, and applied tack. This process runs anywhere between $60-$125+ not including the cost of the ball. There is a pic of another GST that is brand new. You can see the difference. Also, check out the laces on the ball, you can see the untreated leather (if tested in that area, the integrity will be compromised). The ball still has the points (worn GSTs are rounded on the end… why they are called “the pumpkins.” This will be the QB's favorite ball! Shoot me your questions….
