Description

Product Name: Victorian shops era pair of ewers
This is a pair of beautiful ewers, that were hand painted enamel with a blue satin paint with flecks of gold on the top and bottom. They have hand blown green glass handles that were applied by hand. These were very popular in the Victorian era ( 1837-1901) to hold water or various types of liquids. The top has a ruffle and on the bottom you will see what is called a pontil, which is wear they broke off the iron or glass rod after they finished the piece. Because of their age they do have some paint loss (chipping) but no breaks in the actual glass. Please see all pics for condition and ask any questions you may have before purchasing. Thank you for looking! SHIPPING has gone up immensely. Please be aware that I have to charge correctly for the weight plus shops the wrapping and box.
