Overview: Up for sale is a really stunning atmospheric impressionist watercolor painting by listed Danish artist, Ove Carl Svenson (1880-1976). There isn't much information on Svenson's biography, but he is a well-listed Danish painter who excelled in both watercolor and oil painting. This beautiful little piece appears to depict a winter town scene in Denmark. It is signed "O. Svenson" at lower right. It is undated, but I would guess this dates to the 1950's or 1960's. It is framed in a period wood frame. Condition: The painting, matting and frame are in excellent condition shops. Measurements: Painting measures approximately 9.75 inches high x 6.5 inches wide (sight). Frame measures approximately 14.5 inches high x 10.875 inches wide.
