This awesome VTG PERKINS Brailer typewriter still works! Tested on thick paper, I'm no expert but still functions quite well. From the Watertown Mass, Perkins School for the Blind. Its ergonomic keyboard design makes typing on this Perkins standard keyboard easier than ever. An audible bell sounds 7 spaces from the end of a line, so you'll always know when a line is finishing. The machine has margin stops and a paper locking system. Recommended paper weight for the brailler is 90 lbs.
