Description

Product Name: 1960s vintage atomic RARE shops vanity/trinket trio
This trio of vintage 1960s vanity/trinket/candy dishes and lidded box is extremely hard to come by. I've only been able to find 3 pieces online and for just one piece ranges from $47 -$65. Has some texture too it, white overlay like snow - speckled ceramic. Gold Accents on all pieces. One piece has a small chip and a hairline crack on the underside (photographed and can't see unless flipped upside down.) The small chip is visible however hardly noticeable in my opinion. Modernist birdcage design. Industrial designer Raymond Loewy's career spanned six decades, from about 1920 to 1986, during which he was active in Europe and the United States, with offices in Paris, London, New York, and Chicago. Perhaps his best-known design was that of the Coca-Cola bottle. In the 1960s and '70s Loewy applied his expertise and his formula of sleek and simplified lines to objects used in aerospace technology. He designed the graphics and the interior shops of Air Force One for Pres. John F. Kennedy.
