Loie Fuller1920's "Dancing Girl" Bookend Art Nouveau / Art Deco Transition Period of Bronze Clad Spelter - Marked 500. • Original Art Nouveau / Art Deco transition piece, circa shops 1920s. • Impressed number “500” at the back bottom and back of Loie's dress on right side. • In good condition with no cracks or repairs. • Some tiny water based ceiling paint speckles which can be removed. • Nose has small indentation, normal surface wear to finish consistent with 100 yr age. • 7" Tall. Base 3 1/2" W and 3 7/8" D. 5 1/2" wide at the widest point of dress edge. • Please see photos for more details. Loie Fuller, born in 1862, was an American dancer/actress who pioneered a completely new genre in modern dance technique and theatrical lighting effects ahead of her time.
