I bought this nice vintage Dooney & Bourke Satchel online to refurbish. I find bags that have good form, they are so nice fixed up. The exterior was scuffed and had some areas that needed attention. The leather was originally in Bone. Pebbled Leather with Brittish Tan trim. The piping trim is still nice all over. I took apart the entire bag and cleaned it with professional leather products. I Base coated her in Angelus brand Leather Paint in the color 'Pink'. I added all the hand painted hearts randomly and imperfect....I like this look, like the Le Crueset new hearts coffee cups!! Finally I seal coated her in matte sealer. I polished all the brass hardware. The interior is clean and is all leather inside with nice size compartments on each side of the bag. There are D-rings on each side so you can add a fabric strap or any matching strap you find. This bag is super cute for spring and summer!!
