It's tarnished today, and it's still going to be tarnished when you receive shops it. If a tarnished James Avery bracelet is going to hurt your feelings, please don't buy this one. I want you to know before you receive it so you aren't tempted to leave negative feedback saying that you didn't know the piece had tarnished. Tarnish is easily removed with either toothpaste, or baking soda and water made into a paste…. I generally use baking soda and a little water myself. The more you rub the piece with the paste, the more tarnish is removed.
