Product code: Rare Canon FP camera, designed by Bell & shops Howell 50mm Lens 1964
Rare Canon FP camera, designed by Bell & Howell 50mm Lens 1964 Working condition ! Canon: Canon FP - 1964. 35mm SLR shops camera. Camera made in black or chrome versions. A Bell & Howell / Canon FP camera, designed by Bell & Howell and manufactured by Canon No 147052 with Canon FD 50mm 1:1,8 lens and filter 1964. This camera introduced the FL lens mount to the world. It incorporated a CdS light sensor on the left side of the camera under the rewind knob. Then, six months later, Canon introduced a less expensive version of the FX, the FP, which had no light meter. It was a purely manual camera that required the use of an external light meter. There is no fungus or haze in the viewfinder or in the lens. There are noticeable dust specs in the viewfinder which will not affect shooting at all. A very clean example. The body and filter have some scuffing typical to an almost 60 year old camera, but is in good shape overall. Please see all pictures.
