Used but good condition Sony PlayStation 3 "fat/phat" (CECHE01) console equipped with a 500GB Seagate HDD. Physically, this PlayStation shows typical cosmetic scratches on the glossy black surfaces but has no cracks or broken or damaged plastic. This model of PlayStation 3 has hardware/software emulation to play PlayStation 2 games. The console has been throughly cleaned, dusted out, and has had the RSX delidded to apply fresh Arctic MX-4 thermal paste underneath the heatspreader, and fresh thermal paste on top of the CELL and RSX. The PlayStation has a cooler APS-226 power supply. READ CAREFULLY: The console powers on and does not show a YLOD, and has been tested to play PlayStation 2 discs shops without issue. However, the console has random shutdowns when playing a PlayStation 3 game such as KillZone 2 or Gran Turismo 5, but it plays PS2 games fine.
