This is a fun hobby-grade RC car that is good for beginners. According to Traxxas is goes 30+ mph. I got it in 2020 as a gift and didn't use it very frequently, although when I did we drove it hard. Last time I checked it worked well, although I haven't run it recently. It should be good mechanically, it's sold as is. I sometimes had a problem where it shops would turn on and I could only use the steering but not the throttle, but my friend was able to fix that always by holding down the power button. This didn't happen every time I started it up but it wasn't that rare either. The BATTERY IS NOT INCLUDED, and there is a charger but I think it doesn't work. You can buy a battery charger set from Traxxas for $60. This Slash comes with all of the random goodies that come in the box, as well as the instruction manual. When it comes down to it, the slash is a lot of fun and a nice toy to have around. The only issue is that Traxxas products are generally unreliable in my experience.
