Framed, double matted print is in excellent condition; colors are bright, no signs of fading, stains or foxing. Print is a restrikenot a print copyof original woodblock print by Utagawa (Ando) Hiroshige. Scene is of the Golden Pavilion (Kinkakuji) from the series, Famous Places of Kyoto. The original prints were shops made during Udo period circa 1830s. Pencil markings on back say owners visited the Golden Pavilion in 1985, but believe this print was made earlier. Framed in solid wood, black and gold, bamboo style, frame. Overall dimensions: 13 1/2 W x 11 H. Print opening: 8 7/8 x 6 1/2.
