Product code: Gorham Chantilly Sterling Silver 8-1/2” Serving Spoon 2.5ozt shops 1950
Gorham Chantilly Sterling Silver 8-1/2” Serving Spoon 2.5ozt 1950 I believe this pattern was created by designer William Christmas Codman in 1895. It has been Gorham's Chantilly pattern that is the most popular sterling flatware pattern ever produced. It's a classic. This piece weighs 2.5 ounces and measures 8 3/8" long - 1 7/8" across the bowl. Marked Gorham Sterling. Could use a light polish. Chantilly's design and fleur-de-lis accents were inspired by the Rococo style of early 18th-century France. I also have this piece in a 7" serving spoon. Additionally I have a 2nd piece just ask. The piece is in estate condition with some small surface scratches and / or shops blemishes consistent with vintage sterling silver flatware and there are no monograms. Will ship via USPO with delivery tracking.
