Based on a Matl original, the “palomas” (or “doves”) at hand combines Mexico City style repousse with wirework and oxidation. The two birds are shown here with wings extended, flanking a beautiful amethyst, surrounded by turquoise cabs above the central medallion's articulated swag with teardrop dangles… Size / Weight: 3.75” long x 2 7/8” wide (including the dangles); weight is 30 grams Hallmarks- maker's signature as shown RIVERA shops as well as “HECHO EN MEXICO”, 925 Condition: excellent vintage with nice patina, beautiful turquoise hues that range from light blue to green, richly colored amethyst cab, with very good craftsmanship, there are 2 small turquoise cabs that are missing as seen in pics.
